Final day and final night

It has been quite a day. Began in the morning getting ready for our last day of clinic. Received a call from Nadine saying that Leonard's bus broke down when he got back home last night. It was decided to get Nadine's car, truck and a tap tap (the small public means of transportation here). We piled in all three vehicles with Jerry and Jason riding on the back of the pickup. Some more great photos to come. At Pelarin we set up in the church again. This church is smaller and we were closer, but it worked out wonderfully.

Over the whole week we saw almost 1300 people in the medical clinic, gave out 674 eye glasses in the eye glass clinic, and treated 62 in the dental clinic. In the end we distributed 7 tons of food. Praise God!!

Eluice, Wes, Leonard and Nadine joined us for dinner and devotions tonight. Mike reminded us that we are the body of Christ and no one is more important than another. Remember what we have seen and heard and use it to witness to others at home. Stay close to God and listen to what He says.

Tomorrow we leave Haiti to return home. Each of us has changed in many ways. We will not forget Haiti and all hope to remember to pray for the people. They are God's people and He loves all of us the same.
